Supersprint **CRACK**

   Well its happend after a year and abit ive had my first problem with the supersprint The centre pipe has to cracks on one of the bends.
   
   My exhaust has been blowing for since i'd fitted my piper manifold and i always just thought it was the join from the mani to the centre section but now i believe this is the problem
   
   Basiclly i took the centre section and back box off tonight to give it a clean and spray it with hammerite as its mild steel as i didnt want it rusting so i got the wire brush out and was going over and i noticed the "crack" which i thought at first was just flakey paint so i got the wire brush onto it and this is what i found its on both sides in exactly the same place
   
   
   
   
   Anywho my dad's going to weld it tomorrow while im going with andy to pick up a new engine so its all good i guess. I just thought id share with you

   Doesn't look good - have you caught/knocked it on anything?

   Actually looks to have cracked at the point where the tube changes diameter at the bend.

   nope nothing no marks around it or anything. all i can think of maybe the material was abit cack after all it has been on a year and half so i guess thats not bad for mild steel

   Not good that tbh although these things do happen (just look at pugsports)
   
   At least your dad can weld it for you ok

   Only small, get the MIG on the go and some underseal
