Raceland Intake fitted on my VTS - Too much heat on it!

   Hi folks!
   
   Just fitted my Raceland Intake along with de 4x1 wraped up and i thinks the intake is getting too hot!
   
   They are vey close and I guess it is going to melt within the time.
   
   Any suggestions or people who expeienced that before?

   they are crap imo bud, i had one and it never fit right to begin with and eventually melted and cracked in several places.

   remove the plastic cover and use a heat shield would be the best option.
