Sorry alex my bad. Thanks for moving it..Yeah ive heard that they are a bit poor from a few people.
  4. #4
wouldnt have anything from poorflow like, you can get decent systems for quite cheap these days, specially with saxos
  5. #5
Yeah ive had a look on Kam and seen a few on there but i dont want something too big or too loud as it its only a 1.1 like..do you think 4 " is too big?i was thinking more like 2.5"-3"
  6. #6
got a 4" on my vtr, dont do it mate, lol 2-3 is fine, loud cars are anoying, with how high a 1.1 will rev it will be anoying as fooooooook aswell as al the attention youll get in a not so quick car, main reason i cant wait to get mine off hahha
  7. #7
hahahah thats what i thought,,i didnt want to look like a dicked lol with an alright saxo with a big exhaust,,i think its a no go,,hopefully get my hands on a 2" or 3" i think
  8. #8
    2 imo mate
  9. #9
Okay mate,do you recommend any sort of back box and would i need any othersize pipe (centre pipe) aswell or can they go atraight on?.(sorry i dont know much about exhausts tbh)
  10. #10
my powerflow was very good quality to be fair, it was from powerflow in bolton. did nothing for performance though
  11. #11
Pooerflow = depends what dealer you go to, some are good, some have 14 year old cowboys doing them.

Yeah ive heard mixed reviews on them but alot of people in my area have said go to this place and reccomend them and a few people i have spoken to who are liek 30+ years of age,,so go there as they went there when they had their pug 205 GTI's etc and say there decent quality.
  14. #14
im a piper fan tbh mate, but theres lots of good systems and boxes, all depends on your budget?
  15. #15
There not really a budget mate, but i dont wnat to spend too much,,but i mainly just want the backbox for now,The place where i may get the powerflow exhaust from customise it do your own exhuats so its unique and fits the car to your choose and are stainless steel aswell and take a few weeks for them to be ready as there really popular.
  16. #16
    Go for Sportex mate
  17. #17
Yeah ive seen a few of them on ebay aswell as ahley,,then on rtec theyve got scorpion but it doesnt state that they fit a 1.1:/..ill see what i can get hold of.

Cheers mate i appreciate the help.

ive actually had a powerflow and supersprint, would stay well away from powerflow to be honest, and i highly reccomend supersprint, the centre sections are amazing build quality for the price

tbh mate, anyone can make an exhaust, stick to known brands and you know waht your getting, i mean this, lots of garages can make exhausts, its a piece of piss, but to have a decent exhaust some research has to go into it, end of the day modifying isnt cheap but saxos are really comon so theyve been done and done, which mean by now you get good parts for good money as theyre so common, custom exhausts are good, but for if going for custom you need a reason imo(not always the case just my opinion), say a very high spec car that you wish to breath properly, and they normally arent cheap, so unless theyre a very reputable fabricator id stick to a pre made design,,

well first of all i got it from the scrapyard off a westcoast and paid a robbery price of 20 quid , then he gave me a decat pipe just thinking it was just a random peice of pipe. then i sold it for 70 then bought it back for 20 smiles all round lol!
  28. #28
my powerflow sounds nice, but tbh i bet its not good for performance, tbh id go for a magnex or SS

Yea powerflow are more custom for looks and sound really arent they?? I got 1 on my vts, woz on when i bought it 4"rolled out and my mate has a 3" rolled out on his vtr, they both might sound ok but getting rid of it for 1 more designed 2 improve power..a 2" supersprint race system kamracing quite cheap.

Supersprint is one of the best, and very good for the money, sounds raspy, and a popular choice
  32. #32
Cheers for all the advice guys, yeah ive heard a few peoples powerflows and they sound good and i agree that they are customised to what you like etc,,so there unique,,but ill see what my banks levels like and go from there,i had a look on kamracing(so good stuff on there)if i did go for an exhuats i think itd go for a 2 or 3" not a 4" as i think itll look too big.

lol thats brill very ture thou

I had a powerflow on my Mondeo ST24 it was ok, nothing spec really. There are a few for sale in the for sale section but id be careful about buying a 2nd hand one as they are a very custom design exhaust and what the person selling it likes may not be what you like.

As prev said really anything bigger than a 3" is going to be loud on a small engine but if I was you just stick to the know brands as its better quality and power, Supersprint, Piper or Magnex you cant go wrong
  35. #35
Yeah thats cool, yeah powerflow are customed but again if i do go for powerflow but im undeicded yet and ill see what my money looks like and ill get one and ge it fitted,,might have a look on kam again and see whats about.
