#17i think the best one is the 106 gti ariel. its about £4.50 from pug, its small, its subtle. Looks better than having a gay shiny halfords one imo.
-

Saxo Ariel Vs 206 Ariel
£5ish from pug as already said. -
#26I want no ariel but then I want to be able to listen to Radio1 every now and again, anyway round it??
Also I think someone snapped mine off so on the saxo is the car a female connection and the ariel a male connection?? -
#27The shorter aerial isn't only a 206 aerial, it was on some of the 106s too.
Either cut down long one, or the shorter Peugeot one. -
#32good point.
-
#34I have a 106/206 GTI aerial on mine looks spot on unless you wanting it smoothed obv
-
#35I just cut my original one and stuck on a stainless grommet like thing on the end, cost me nothing and it looks better than most!
-
#36had that on my old sax, perfect size imo!Quote:
-
#37has anyone got a pic of the 106/206 one on thier saxo. i want one but was wonderin what it looked like

#39some random one where you could change the length by using different parts. in black too, paints a bit shit but looks better than a bloody silver one!
-
#41I remember someone saying on here that you can bond a washer to the underside of the roof attached to the old aerial cable and still get a signal.Quote:I want no ariel but then I want to be able to listen to Radio1 every now and again, anyway round it??

(Might be worth a search)
Then either get a roof plug from pug/citroen or get it smoothed and sprayed by a body shop. -
#42from an amuter radio side of things get 2 pecies of speaker cable about 31cm each connect them to a choco block and connect your coax to the choco block and u have made a 1/4 wave dipole just stick that under ure roof lining or anyere u fancy and u shoudl still receive a radio signal
-
#43So this aint tried and tested thenQuote:from an amuter radio side of things get 2 pecies of speaker cable about 31cm each connect them to a choco block and connect your coax to the choco block and u have made a 1/4 wave dipole just stick that under ure roof lining or anyere u fancy and u shoudl still receive a radio signal
