sun strip

hey i might sound stupid saying this but im not sure i braught a sunstrip from halfords erlia and i think it goes on the outside of the windscreen but im not sure can someone tell me if its on the inside or outside thanks

Outside bud. Use soapy water, get somone else to help you the orther side of the car. Align it up and lay it down, then get a sharp knife and cut around the edges.

I did it and it had a few boubles in. The way halfords rap there sunstrips is shit as it leaves creases every 200mm or so.

    Hope that helps, Lloyd.

    Once again wrong.

If you get a tint on the inside and thw top of the wiper goes over it then its fine.

I got pulled for mine. The copper said that my wiper blade was conflicting with the strip, I kindly asked him where the strip was located and he touched the inside and then outside and noted it was inside the car in which my reply was that cos its on the inside the blades does not touch it.

He tried to then blag it by saying ok well its too deep (from top of windscreen to bottom) cos its more that x amount, I then kindly came back asking him to sit in the drivers seat. Asked him to placed the sun visor down and asked which is better. A sun visor restricting my view or a tint to cut down the light but stil see out all 100% of the front screen

Bare that in mind and your'll be fine.

When the visor was down it came level with the tint, therefore making it legal.
I got it when I had my ZR and it was with all the other windows tinted including the front hehe all 5 plus the front strip cost me about £220. I dont think I got any pics but I'll see what I can dig up for ya.

EDIT: Sorry Jaystar89, I aint got no pics of it
