Unknown fault

   I have just bought a Saxo desire 2001, it makes a sort of knocking noise when I turn left which a friend told me was the cv joint? It now feel a bit light on the right side and the right steering is heavy??? Is due into garage Fri am but am worried - help please??

   If it nocking when you turn it could bee a number of things...

   cv joint is more of a creaking noise, and will get worse. had one go on my rover and i didnt have a clue what the creaking was until the cv joint bearing casing snapped and fell out the bottom of my car!!lol. It was on the right side and started off creaking turning full lock right then changed to just turning half lock right and just got worse so could be that if its creaking. but could still also be all of above lol.
