   wernt sure which place to post this so here seems good a place as any...
   
   i bought a 1.1 r reg sax while i had my provisional but now selling as want a furio or west coast but not sure what the differences are or which is the better of the two .....can any one help out??

   westcoast mk1 and furio is mk2.
   
   So furio is newer
   
   Also there both 1.4's... but ide take a look at the isurance first mate.

   just ad a quick look on comparason websites for top end ....it seems to be about 2,400-2,600. but nice car = more money just the way it is. what about the valves???

   My West Coast was £1389 60k on a T reg but was f**ked cos me £1285 to insure TPFT
   My Furio was £1995 65k on an 51 plate full service history 1 Owner no fauslts whatsoever and is £1417 TPFT.
   
   I am 18 1 fault claim and 6months driving experience btw

   it all depends on where you live in my opinion.
   
   i bought a westcost for £520 on a T. it is sounds as a pund. the guy thought the head gasket was on its way coz it was smoking a little. but it was just coz it had been sat in a garage for 2 years, ran it with some fresh oil and plugs now no smoke, had it checked by the pro's, everything is fine. so there are good deals to be had.
   
   but not where insurance is concerned i am afraid. i am 24, been driving 6 months, had a fiesta previously, that didnt work out too well. it blew up. long story. i am payin £1350 TPFT!!!! but thats coz i live in manchester. and the car crime is very high around here... inssurance is a mother fucker.
   
   But once you have them no claims and get over 25, you will be rolling!
   
   it falls ace for me, coz once my insurance runs out i will be 25, with 1 years no claims (hopefully) and i should see a major difference

    im having exactly the same problem, i have a 1.0l scandal and have my test soon, but i want either a west coast or a furio but dont know which to get .
    ive been told the west coast is more nippier?
    any one have any opinions on this please let me know,

    i bort my furio w2000 for 400£ wit vts badges?bodykit alloys vtr axel conversion lowerd.
    runs well considerin 148000miles lol
    iits nippy throught the gears but wont do over 100
    just give it a service when u get it.
    plus try goin on parents insurance!! much cheaper but you dont get NCB

    my westie was £700 and is Treg, hasnt broken (touch wood) in the 7 months ive had it. i prefer the look of the mk1 on my mango but not mk2, mk2s nice in other colours though

    i dunno. its all about personal preference i suppose. i love the shape of the mk1... they look nicer. am all about loud colours to reflect personality! mango for the win!

    Mango or Silver = Mk1
    
    Posi blue, Black or wicked red = Mk2
    
    you dont want any other colours
