Should i connect my MAF to my sensor port on the pipercross?

i have bought a new pipercross induction to replace my knackered K&N. prefer Piper any ways, better sound.

but on this new filter i have a plug, which i assume is for the MAF.

i have found a plug that kinda fits, or will do with some filing!

but not too sure if thats right.

the plug is my MAF (i think) it is connected on the inlet manifold, right next to where the filter connects to the car. the cable and plug reaches but the plastic housing of the plug on the filter is slightly different. i need to sand i small piece of plastic off to plug the sensor in.

tjhey are both a 2 prong plug... the plug is purple if that helps!

No MAF sensor on a Saxo - MAP sensor yes, MAF no.

Only 2 pin connector around the throttle body area is the IAT (Inlet Air Temp). TPS is 3 pin, ICV is 4, MAP is 2.

Shouldn't need to move any sensors when fitting induction kit.
