new gearbox time!! shud go 4 uprated linkages and quickshift???

   gearbox gone yet again gettin a recon box just wonderd weather its worth gettin uprated linkages and quickshift?? what are the bennifits from the linkages? i was thinking the compbrake on kam and the kam linkages??

   Theyre deffo worth it mate yeah. However its not like theyre difficult parts to fit yourslef another time, so if moneys tight dont think you need to do it now. Very easy to get at

   yeh but what do the linkages actually do comparied 2 standard 1s?

   They have solid alloy cups rather than metal ones with rubber inside them, the OEM ones perish over time making the gear change feel sloppy. The alloy ones tighten up gearchange, slightly shorten the throw with some kits, and make the gearbox feel more direct to use.

   lol same, feels like shit to drive when theyre like that.
   
   Only thing Id mention is a lot of selectors on boxes now are quite sloppy anyway, so make sure they fit a good one to feel the full benefits

   well ive rang up mts and they quote 475 plus vat 4 recon box 12month warrenty hopefully should do the job
