    ....remove my door pins?

is it just a case of removing the door cards ripping a hole in the foam stuff and twisting the metal bars on the door pins till they come out?

will i encounter any problems when unlocking or locking after the're removed coz i've lost the remote fob (getting a new one with new alarm in a week or so)
so is it really as simple as the guide shows?

yea lol but may need plier things to cut them

Sorry to thread hijack - does anyone have a pic of a saxo with no door-pins, with these so-called "rubber grommits" in the holes?

I'm thinking of getting rid of the door pins, but
#1 i have manual locking (does this have any implications?)
#2 i don't want to if the rubber grommits look naff.

    Lozi

better to have naff gromets than a stolen stereo

i have LEDs to blank the holes off

you just wont be able to lock and unlock your car from the inside that should be the only problem

you can get a central locking kit quite cheap now
or buy an alarm which wll give you added protection

Thanks hessle - not being able to lock my car from inside, that's a pain... i quite often have passengers so if i forgot to lock their side (quite likely) someone can get into my car even easier!

...I think i'll wait 'til i get a central locking kit.

Thanks for the help though guys
