Mud flaps

   The factory ones on my VTR at the front have faded and look scruffy and one has started to crack around the bracket/screw holding them on.
   Maybe its a stupid question but are they just for show cos thinking of removing them altogether?

   they kinda protect your paint a little bit from stone chips apparently,
   but might as well get rid of them,
   looks much better without!

   I was thinkin about getin mud flats - its a lil bit rally slag, but if it protects the paint... lol - im thinking about taking my car to the college. - they will spray it (in the same colour because they wont do the engine bay ect) for £250 what would be a nice touch up thats for sure!
