chequred roof?

   got a mauritious VTR
   
   painted the wheels mirror caps and badges graphite grey.
   
   ive found some vynal squares (150mm x 150mm) on the internet that are 'graphite' coloured.
   
   what are your opinions?

   The graphite and the mauritious would go well mate Ive seen a couple of cars with chequred roofs and mirrors etc looks decent.

   As above, seen a few with roofs like that and they do look pretty cool

   mines checked black car red squares, im thinking of taking mine off apart from the fact that when my mate fitted it he used a scalpul and has put sevral cuts in the paint (dick)

   well my mirror caps are already graphite so that wouldnt show very good tbh.
   
   but proper considering doing the roof.
   
   any tips on applying them?

    do it, i have never apply vinyl on a roof before,
    
    but what i do know is get some soap and water in a spray bottle, and spray it over all over the roof and the back of the vinyl, this is so you can move it once its on the roof, and also it help when you use a plastic scraper to get the air bubbles out, and only press on gently with the scraper.
