Roof Covered with vinyl

   Ive got a white vtr and the roof has a few bits of rust on it causing the paint to bubble.Was thinking of getting it covered with one piece of vinyl.Either black or carbon fibre look.What does everyone reckon

   dont do it... get if painted... your just covering up the problem...

   Painting costs alot. do it!.

   im gunna sort the problems first.just fansy a carbon fibre look and cant get that sprayed.i am gunna sand down the bublles and paint it white again then cover it

   exactly what im doing had a rust spot repaired it but not willing to pay a body shop £150 quid to repaint the roof when i can get vinyl for £45.

    im sure.that aint gunna be a cheap job.i could probably get the whole car painted for the price of the roof

    i have the same problem i have a rust spot on the roof and i am going to sand it down and treat it and then have it covered in black vinyl its alot cheaper than spraying

    done my roof in cranberry red vinyl cost me 6 quid

    Black vinyl roof! Get some old RS alloys too and step back to the 70's!!!
