spax coilovers?

ae they any good and is there a 'how to' on fitting coilovers? how would you lower the rear on coilovers?

afaik, the spax aren't actual 'coilovers' just uprated suspension shocks.

The rear doesnt have any type of coilover or shock suspension as its a torsion bar it just has the little dampers.

Any kit you buy for the saxo consists of two front shocks + springs + rear dampers

coilover kits will inlcude two front coilovers + two rear dampers

To answer your original question, i dont know myself but a few people have said the spax are pretty good if working on a budget, similar to the apex dampers.

They give good increase over the standard shocks but wont be anywhere as good as say bilstein

oh rite can any garage lower the rear?

Depends, to actually lower the back just the torsion bar is adjusted, so you'd have to find a garage that knows how to do that.

shocks and dampers are the same thing

so it will just be springs and dampers but thats all you really need unless you want the adjustability of a coilover or to be extremely low
