ive put a mk2 shaft in my saxo now it keeps smashing bearings 4 in 6 weeks! thought id sorted the problem then took the car for a drive the other day to make sure it was okay before any body come to look at it as its for sale and gess what yep smashed another bearing

could this be down to having a mk 2 shaft in a mk1? oh its a vtr btw

Have you just got standard wheels on the saxo mate?

Its the shaft thats causing it. Mk1 shaft outer cv joints have a flat face where they meet the bearing/hub. Mk2 have a tapered end, which will roger wheel bearings in no time. Make sure you get a flat face one.
