5 door skirts

  1. #1
Does anyone know anywhere that you can get side skirts for the 1.1i Mk1 saxo?

    Cheers
  2. #2
    Yeah man,

    Edworthys

It's just the Cliche kit side skirts.
  3. #3
are they for a 5 door though matey??
  4. #4
    Yup.
Wheelbase is no different between models and the skirts dont raise any higher than the sill, so it'll fit a 5-door (i hope anyway)

    ...Also,

I mentioned this in another post already, but have a word with a citroen dealer. I was flicking through the 'accessories' leaflet while i was down there. They had a little heading of BodyKits and underneath was a 5-door with the Cliche bumper on the front but some slightly different looking sideskirts. I'll dig up the leaflet if i can find it...

Cliche on the front but havent a clue about the sideskirts

cheers, what do you guys think are better the citroen 1's or the cliche 1's? And will they fit a MK1?

    Thanks

cool pics, personally i like them better with bodykits! But I hate the back arch, so I might get it converted to a vt* arch.

Or the other option is I keep it standard and just put some alloys on it, lol!
  16. #16
or do what im doing get rid and get a vtr
  17. #17
good point, lol. dont have the cash though at this time! Mines is a R reg with 50000 miles on it. Dont think ill get much for it!

Well I rang up the Citroen Dealer near me and he didnt seem to have a clue (so at least I knew I was talking to a citroen representative). But the main details are:
    £425 + VAT so ~£500
    This includes:
    front spoiler
    Side Skirts
    Rear apron
    rear spoiler
    and an exhaust!

but you'll still have to get it fitted and painted tho. Trying to think whether thats a good deal or not ... cant be coz its from the dealer. Hope that helps man!

thats not that bad matey, i dont think they would fit it fit you though

are ya totally sure on that dude? bit of a bugger then.

I asked about the kit on the green saxo in the above pic like, i guess he could have told me shite. And i did keep mentioning the fact i had a 5-door.

  21. #21
cheers for the info. Hope the citroen guy was talking shite cause thats a good deal I think. Now just got to decide if I want that kit, lol! Adsayer, you going to get it?

    alloys first man,

kit later on, need to think pretty seriously about how it affects the standard body work, probs will but in summer when the weather is a little better to do the spraying and that.
