VTR tappets

   Tappets.... sound tappity... how to solve this, and what upgrades are available...??
   
   silver top mk 2 vtr, early engine model... cat in down pipe engine... if it had one!

   There's a good guide in the haynes, just make sure the engine is stone cold before you start - best off leaving it overnight, then do them in the morning.

   There's a guide here bud. With the silvertop engine, you can't adjust the clearances with a flat head screwdriver though - they are tiny little hex heads instead. Can just use your fingers to rotate them.
