Trouble removing front seats :S

Im trying to take out my passanger seat to see if my cobra monacos wil fit in ok, but the bolts that hold the subframe and seat in wont come out, the ones attached to the side of the car are fine but the ones by handbrake and gearstick are useless, even when i got the right screwdriver etc the metal just seems to round off, anyone else have this problem am i doing somthing wrong??

    Cheers

have you used a torx head (t40) if its rounded off its a bastard, means you have to tap it out

get a torx piece and hammer it ontop of the bolt so it makes a new impression and then it should unscrew.....thats what the guy done with mine when i got my monaco's

pair of thick pliers to turn them, or theres a special tool that goes over the top of the bolt cant remember what its called

Nope as above you need a torx t40 bit and a socket to remove all four bolts well two now that you have removed the two on the side which are also torx screws dont know how you managed to remove them without f~~~~ing them up lol.

it might be the bolt underneath the car mate, what the screw screws into like if you no what i mean because a few of them you can move and slide but they might have just sliped out of the bit what holds them tight but i have no clue how you would get to them mate

you cant pysically put a nut underneath on a saxo unless you cut all the shell open
most of the time a plate with thread is welded in if its stripped ect

i would say use the correct tools tbh
theres only a few bits on a saxo that use a screwdriver and the seat isnt normally one of them
