Installing a 16Ver

   Gauging intrest in a 16V lump. Gear box + Loom & ECU with it too.
   
   Is it a simple case of putting the 16V lump on the existing enging mounts, Stripping the wiring and replacing it with 16V loom? I know it wont be 'Simple' but is that the general gist? How long would it roughly take?

   yer it just replace exactly what comes out except for swapping the looms. it is quite easy if your mechanically minded.
   i can get it done in a day in and out running

   pretty simple mate. if you sue a 16v loom with the same plug type then it will be unplug one loom and fit plug the new one in. if you take your time with no experience then take a weekend

   Get a VTR engine. Its better for 1.1s imo.
