De-cat Query

   I was just wondering about the fitment of a de-cat (and cat for MOT purposes), is it a case of it just bolting into place or is there welding required?
   
   And at MOT time, if the cat is put back into place but the car has a straight through centre section will it pass the emissions test? or is this dependant on the particular car where some could pass and some not?

   its 4 bolts to fit and unfit
   
   if the car has the cat back in then it should pass emissions fine unless something else is wrong with the car

   how much extra bhp would a vtr mk2 get with a de-cat?

   performance gain would be small. sounds good, easy to remove and refit cat
