Furio 1.4

Hi all, this is my first post so would like to say hello!
I have recently bought a furio 1.4 2001 as it was an absolute steal.
I have always wanted a VTS but this seemed to good value for money to pass up on.
However, i used to have a 1.6 16v rover 216 and my saxo seems a lot slower in comparison. I was just wondering if anyone knew some good mods I could make to give it something extra. It already has an induction kit, which was on when I bought it.
I have been looking at exhausts but have a couple of problems

1- Does a full system make that much of a difference compared to just a new backbox?
2- I would prefer not to have a loud rasping noise which comes with an exhaust, is there anyway that the noise can be controlled slightly?

Any other tips or advice on other mods would be much appreciated.

Depending on what exhaust system you get mate will give different noises.

A full system will give you slight increase in power and better repsonse.

However, a backbox by itself will do nothing apart from noise. can even loose you hp in some cases.

Best bet is to get on youtube and search a few exhausts and see what you like the sound of.
