front suspension

   Hiya guys, i apologise in advance for this question!!
   Have read the sticky but im still unsure as to wether i can lower the front by 40mm on standard shocks/dampers?
   Much thanks to any replies!

   from what ive read , depends on if youre doing it for looks or handling.
   30 mm on standard shocks seems to be the way to go
   have a search there is loads of this stuff on here

   i wouldn't really want to lower a car without uprated dampers
