What is laws opinion on under car neons, are they illegal to turn on while driving or is it just illegal to have them altogether on your car?

#2as it says on the neon packaging mate,for show use only,exterior neons are illegal on the road full stop,not sure about interior though,and personally i think having em on the road attracts the dibble.

#3well ive had blue neons under my car for 3 and half years now and ive always had them on whilst driving!!!!
people say they are illegal but there actually ISNT a written law against them!!!! YET!!!!
as long as they dont flash or have any kinda siren, as long as you cant see the actual neon tube and they have to be wired up to thier own switch not to the side lights!!!!
if you make sure of that then ull be fine!!!!

#5ive got the max power kit!!
mine cost me £120 years ago but i recently got another max power kit off ebay for £40 includin p+p!! for my dad, the kit was brand new and straight from the ebay members shop!!!!
and dont get the l,e,d neons!!! they are crap and dont light up as good as the normal ones!!!!

4 can be switch off while the engine is running

Otherwise its a legal grey area. Be nice to the coppers and you should be fine.
