Rough costing for bottom end rebuild and hg + cb change?

   As title really,
   
   Anyone know how much to expect for a Bottom end rebuild, new headgasket and cambelt change?
   
   Just trying to work up costs of when I get my new pistons installed.

   depends on how it gets presented. will the engine be in or out of a car etc. bottom end rebuild out the car £350 normally which includes fitting of a new head gasket and cambelt

   piston rings 29.95 each set (3 rings) from citreon £120 all 4 pistons
   shells 27.75 citreon
   headgasket 49.00 kevin coopers, german french swedish most local car parts stores
   head bolts 20-30 pound
   cambelt 14-20 pounds
   just done this myself m8

   Would be the old case of drop it into the shop and let them do their magic.

   in that case is it a standard engine? the cost of that would be huge. you could just source a new engine and get someone like myself to fit it for you. which would cost you in total around half of a rebuild
