On my VTS I just connected it back up to the standard scoop on the slam panel.

It's up out the way of water, facing forward and seems a suitable place to be.

Got any pics mate, my cold air feed is shit, keeps poping off and its close to the manifold so its sorta begining to burn. Engine keeps geting close to over heating. Nightmare!

drill a hole straight through the slam panel to behind the grill. drill a few holes in the air box plus a large hole which you can run a air feed pipe right to the front of the car

I'm currently getting some flexible hosing to fit to my standard airbox (mk2 VTR)

The plan is to block up the bottom hole, remove the original feed and replace with the flexible hosing going down near the passenger side fog light

Or alternatively, you could cut through the slam panel and make a feed directly to the front grille

It just sits behind the light

Lots of airflow around there as there are gaps round the lights.

I couldn't really think of anywhere else and i know a lot of people route their open filters to behind the light

and it is well away from the manifold and rad which are very hot

I left the std air pipe in, as it must do something. Take the restictor box off, wallah 2 intakes y000 lol. i tie wrapped the ally piping to the lower part of the slam pannel.

^^ not a good all round set-up IMO. Just attach it on the slam panel =]
