Tyres...

I saw this on a car the other day...

    205, 50, 15... on the rear, and 195 50 15 on the front of a 205gti...

Question... would it be benefishal to put a 195, 55, 14 on the rear of the saxo, given that the base for a saxo was the 205 anyway???

Putting wider tyres on the rear will encourage more understeer.

Saxo was based on the Ax/106 platform. If you want wider tyres on R rims try 195-45-14.

They will be massively expensive and hard to get hold of. Citroen put 185/55/14 om because they are the best compromise of handling and comfort.
