Cold starting

   The car starts but will not idle, i mean i have to hold the revs slightly to stop it cutting out. its fine when its warmed up though.
   vtr engine, not a carb'd

   check engine temp sensor, or idle control valve

   which sensor is the engine temp, where is it located?

   on/next to the thermostat on a vtr i think
