naaa the paint on it needs smoothing off as it all peeling and shit dont think felt tips is a good idea. so need to rub the platic down to a smooth finish. was thinking of doing this then covering the rest of the bumper with masking tape and whatever and spray the splitter would this be a good way?

its part of a vt bumper, just sand it all back to give a smooth and keyed surface, mask it up, de-grease, plastic primer, top coat, lacquer.

when i did mine the other day:
Whip the front bumper off, and give it a good sanding with say 400grit sandpaper, then go over that with 800 grit on a sanding block.
Really go at it til you get it nice and smooth,
Then High build primer, sand it back with 800 again, primer, paint and lacquer. i got a mirror finish doing it that way.
