thinking of an engine rebuild

  1. #1
im thinking of rebulding my VTR engine but adding a few goodies such as cams and breather mods..

my question is where can i buy the parts for a full rebuld,

    looking at:

    all gaskets
    headwork parts
    belts
    piston rings
head skimming ( can do this myself)

i dont have to worry about any labour costs as my college have said i can use all there facilties and if i ever get stuck they will lend a hand

I'm only playing about - apologies as am in a funny mood.

I'd go to Citroen for the parts - if your rebuilding the engine then IMO best to go with manufacturer parts.

Proberly cheaper just to drop a vts engine in than spend money on the vtr engine, Ricky-p does loads of these conversions n tuning n everythin really. Only thing is hes in Barnsley westyorkshire which might be a bit far for u but its worth it
