I am getting these in couple of weeks time and i just wanted a few views on these and what set up is the best for overall uprated road use? How easy are they to adjust?

Front struts come with a spax 'key' to just plonk on the top and turn.

The rears have a screw, it never stops turning clockwise so unscrew it all the way then listen to the 'clicks' hardest is dangerous as you'll bounce all over.

Generally a good kit but spend a bit of time setting them up as you will actually notice differences in how the car responds.

So how many clicks for fast road use?

depends on how you like your car set up..

The ideal setup is 'as soft as you can' as too hard will make the car skittish

I personally start at the softest setting and then go out testing, wind it a notch harder, test, wind a notch harder, test.. you get the idea..

At some point you'll notice that you've gone too far so you wind it back a notch and there is your sweet spot.

Fit new springs and you do it all over again.

What about the balance between front stiffness and rear? Im guessing too hard on the rear will make the car very twitchy and the front increase bump steer?

What sort of balance should i be going for?

Ive got mine soft'ish on the back, the amount of times ive bumped about on bumpy derbsyhire lanes, i was glad they were soft as i think it prevented it from becoming dangerous. saxo_ron on here knows his stuff about that kind of thing.

Mine isnt comfy at all though, yeah it handles great. But when am not in the mood and just want to get from a-b i somtimes wish i had standard suspension.

its just a case of trial and error mate, know one can tell you the perfect set up for your car

I found 8 clicks from fully soft all round was ideal - handled well and felt very controllable... ride was decent enough too for poor road surfaces.

I know no one will be able to tell me the best set up for my car but i was asking where other people found the best compromise.

I have PSX kit on my 206. Overall, this kit is great for value. It works a charm when the road condition is ok to great. However, it's kind of harsh when you drive on uneven roads...

Mine's 3 from stiffest on the front, and 5 on the back, seems to work well enough. Stiff as fook on normal roads though.

Tempted to try fannying about with it, see if I can set it up any better. Although this definately seems a good setup.
