high comp gasket and high lift cams...problem?

   pretty much im looking at changing the headgasket down to the 0.6mm gasket when i hav my newman ph3 cams fitted. anyone had this done, just worried with clearances etc.

   I believe the valve clearance at TDC is 1.4mm with the PH3s mate, 0.5mm clearance might be pushing it a bit

   i'm in the same situation as you , mate , you are takin out like a milimeter , take the head and skimm it 0,5 -0,6 mm and you would have , 1,5 mm of valve clearance which is the minimiun.

   ive got a jp4 head kent pt50k cams and a 0.6 (jp4) headgasket.
   
   that was fine but the ph3 cams are wilder so it would be quite close
