diamond deffo, and like danvtr said take the grill off and get the black grill off so that you can cut off the relivant parts to make the grill as you want it. the black grill bit is really stubbern to get of but just really pull it and it will come. only took about an hour and is dead easy!

for cutting off the parts to make it as you want use a drill with like a mini cuttind disk drill bit. i started off using a hacksaw and spent half an hour wrenching my arm out until my dad came in and said he had this drill bit then it took about a minuts to do the other half of the cutting lol.

also i just used silicone nails (silione glue) to fix the mesh on. worked great and it really strong!

thanks i went shoipping and i was going to get diamond mesh but sitting at the back of the stack all by its lonesome was some black 'holey ' mesh - bit like the mesh on the morette grill. so i got that althoguh i did have to ask 3 other people opinion lol so indecisive. i also got some red paint (had to get venetian not persian as nowhere sells it)
might go have a bash at the grill in a min, do you just unbolt the bolty bits at the front or is it more complicated to get the front out.
anyone got a 'how too' the haynes one is for mk2
thanks again for all the advice
