    ive just put these lightson my sax:




    do i need to declare them on insurance?? it wont cost me anything just wondering

    Normally its just performance enhancing mods so i doubt it.

    I've just done exactly the same lol...think we bought them from the same person on ebay..."energizedcustoms"? .......and to answer your question, it will depend which insurance company your with....phone them up and check....im with quinn and i didnt have to.

    i'm with post office and had to declare new rear lights cos they want to know everything thats not completly standard, didn;t add insurance tho

    i would bother declaring them any way another way of letting the insurance drain you pockets

    Make sure they have reflectors in though, some smoked jewels dont come with them in!

    My mate has a mk3 golf gti, and his insurance went up £200 for different headlights and a cat back performance exhaust! Madness!! They even charged £5 for painting the calipers red, lol.
