VTR Bumper dropped HELP

   Hi all 1st post here. My daughters just bought a 01 Saxo VTR 1.6 in silver, a lovely car and pretty nippy eh lol. However the previous owner hasnt looked after it too well and the bumper has dropped. Is there any major probs involved in removal and refitting correctly ? Got a Haynes manual to help so fingers crossed. Will add photos when I find out how

   mine was just a case of tightening the bolts up

   yeah id tighten the bolts up,
   also the bumper may have been removed so look for any damage as it could have been in an accident.

   Its pretty simple to take off and put back on.
   
   I personally would be questioning 'why has it dropped?'.
   
   But anyway, there are two bolts (one at each side) in the front wheel area behind the plastic arches. Also the plastic arch will be held to the bumper at the bottom, From memory i think it is a t20 ot t25 screw.
   
   Then there are 3 bolts underneath the front of the bumper. If you go to the front of the car and pop your head under neath you should see them. Best bet will be to use a socket set, i think they're 10's maybe 13's. As are the ones in the wheel area.
   
   Once all the bolts and screws are off dont worry about the bumper falling off. It will still be held on by two white plastic prongs that come out the front chassis of the car. Its just a simple case of pulling it forwards to get it off.
   
   Refitting is the reverse of removal.
   
   If you're jacking the car up make sure you also use axle stands.

   please make some pics, mine also dropped at one side and don't have a clue where the bolds are

   2 white plastic holders on front pannel may be loose tighten them up as this is wher ethe bumper slots into, and check bolts are tight at the sides where the side wings are... should be fine if still dropped it may have been pranged

   sorry to bump an old thread but does anyone know the where i can new "white prong/grips" from that hold the front bumpd up, firstly mine being slowly dropping over the last year and when i lowered my car a few weeks ago the ramp poped out and the rest of my bumper ripped off, or do i simply tighen up the bolts that are on the two white grips???
