the power on the mk2 vtr was upped to 98bhp so why was the vts not upped ??

#5I have read somewhere that the VTR engine has been restricted alot due to the performance being close the the VTS, thus meaning more poeple would buy the VTR to the VTS which Citreon didnt want to happen - hence the restrictions.
Not sure if the story totally true, but that what I read and cant remember for the life of me where I read it! -

#10av just checked torquestats.com and parkers.com and both say the 98bhp vtr has 100lbs torque and the vts 107 so........
