**Coilovers saxo vts mk2**

  1. #1
    Hi all!!

Im thinking of getting a set of coilovers for my saxo vts mk2 2003... there are a couple of things i wanted to know before parting with my hard earned over time money...lol. 1. benefits of having coilovers, rather than just lowering springs...?? 2.and my final question is what about the rear end of my motor, the torsion bar, what happens with that, i mean, will i still have to lower it, or do the coilovers take the hassle out for me???

Any light that you can shead on this, will be greatfuly received...thanks....

sorry to say this but if you dont know why you want coilovers there is no point in getting them

perhaps you should tell us what you actually want the car to drive like and we can suggest something rather than you going for something that might not give you what you want.

secondly the rear has to be lowered by the torsion bars, unless you make a custom rear coilver conversion and ditch the bars, however no company makes them and as far as im aware im the only one who has them

rear is good, feels more comfortable, mainly did it because of the turbo, ill get some pics later, buck did it, welded supports on the rear axel with rose jointed links and then made turrets in the boot to hold the top.

I can now use any spring/damper rate I want for the rear.
although i would recommend getting a larger antiroll bar.

price of coilovers the a few bits of metal and some bolts so less than £50 once you have the coilovers.
