Difference between suspension struts? Place that sells individual Koni's?

An accident has wrecked my VTS's suspension strut, I picked one from the scrappy to be able to push the car around. Its 4 stud and has 3 studs on the top so is it the same as the VTS strut (have got a damper/spring from the VTS to put on it).

Also anyone know of a place that sells individual koni shocks?

There are several difference struts. Check that it uses the same drive shaft and that it has the correct drop link mount on.

demon tweeks sell koni but they never lasted long in my car.

Will the differences be obvious? The driveshaft fits ok anyway, havent checked the drop-link.

the driveshaft will seem to fit ok but if its the wrong one itll eat hub bearings

but you need to check out the hub itself and compare to yout origonal

Well I highly doubt this is off a VT*, is it only VT*'s that have these struts or furios etc to?

Compared hubs today. Where the splines go the VTS has flat on the outside, splined then flat again on the inside, where as the other strut is just splined and then flat. What does this mean? Is there a thread somewhere explaining the different types?

If I get a strut from a 98 or 99 106 will it be the same as mine (97 VTS)?
