   howdo,
   ok alot of people on here want to convert to the vts engine,
   iv been thinking, is there any other engines that can fit in a saxo no bova,
   
   what about the citroen xsara 1.8 16v or 2LTR 16v !! xsara.
   
   
   
   is it possible?

   yeah they can be done, but take a lot of time and knowledge/money

   could i not just buy a xsara nd swap everything strate in, wot about the engine mounting?

   none of the mounts are in the right place, i imagine custom driveshafts will be needed too

   The mount and gearbox linkage are a little different but its not hard to sort this out. The exhaust takes a little work as well as a few other bits and bobs but nothing to big. The only tricky bits are the drive shafts. People have modified ones to fit and a few people have made there own. Most people will just pay to get custom ones made. Generally if your going to this sort of trouble most people go for a 2ltr 16V engine as its the same work..
