Tinted rear lights

    Any one know if it looks decent and worth doing (on a black vtr) or anyone got and tips on what else you can do? want smoked jewels but pockets are tight atm cheers for any help

    Check the picture on my profile page...liked it at first but think I prefer smoked jewels

    if you do it yourself with tinting spray it wont pass mot, if you fit smoked jewels they will pass mot. has something to do with the reflections i believe

    Some Smoked Jewels don't come with reflectors in them - Which ARE needed for the MOT test. Therefore you need to put stick on reflectors on your car's bumper as well.

    or you could tape over a bit of the reflector before you spray then there legal, as mine are .

    Personally i bought mine off ebay however turned out they wern't as dark as i wanted them, there's many methods of doing it there is the heating in an oven method which i wouldn't do or there's sprays spacifically for the job. Get the hayne modifiying guide for saxo's book, there it shows you how to do them plus most modifications to your car

    Im thinkin of tinting my standard ones but only the red part and leaving the white bit as it is, imagine people have dun it b4 any gud? legal????

    Get a can of Taillight tint and spray your standards, looks mint

    Do halfords sell it? thinkin of tinting my front fogs aswel what you rekon?? or not worth doing?

    Pretty sure they are legal you can see the reflectors.

    Well i sprayed my fogs with it:

    and then my tail lights (this piccy is like the 3rd day i bought the car, looks alot different now) :

    Both look smart mate will be doing tomorrow was it hard to get the fogs out? is it just 2 screws and the wire at the back?

    I think Im going to tint my fogs and rear lights with the spray u jus get off ebay. Just need a change from the Lexarse lights on the back
