Car pulling to the right

  1. #1
    Hi there,

since I have owned my Saxo (2-3 months) it has been pulling to the right, the front two tyres were brand new when I bought the car but I have just checked the back tyres and both of them are worn from the inside, I took the car to a local mechanic who told me that the back tyres must of been replaced with the front tyres due to wear and that the wear is caused by the tracking being out. Could this be true? has anyone ever seen back tyres have wear on the inside on a saxo?

are your rear wheels looking straight?

Is there any sign of play in the trailing arm bearings?

what is the numbers the rears should be at?

As I had my car tracked a few days ago and the fronts where -1 and +1 so think thats fine but the rears where 12 and 6 or something like that, any ideas? Thinking maybe trailing arm with teh 12 on is going to go? Haven't checked for play tbh though.

Sorry to hijack as well bud.

you still have to align the front with the rear or it will crab.
do a 4 wheel assignment check its like £25 and then you can see if it needs doing but if it does its like £80 or something.

If the car is bent, it'll crab anyway.
4 wheel alignment aligns 4 individual wheels, not any one wheel with the others on the car. You're thinkng more about "race" style suspension set-ups. These can obviously be done but are specialised stuff and cost alot more than £25.
