well id go up to 16s with no mods to arches, it all depends if you have lowered your car mate????????

Cheers, i was wanting to put 16's on it, it aint been lowered. You not have to adjust the handbrake cable or anything either ?

I put 16's on and they have not caused me any trouble...I have not had anything lowered, and it has standard suspension on...only trouble is - went up to blackpool the other day and two of my mates were in the back...the wheels were rubbing a bit and a bit of metal has ground a bit of the tyre away....so i need some stiffer shocks.....and an angle grinder!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have lowered my vtr by 60mm all round and have a set of 17's on the bad boy, even with all this i can still get 4-5 people into the car with not many problems. Basically what it comes down to is how much you are daring to cut those arches. You just need to take all the arch liners out, cut down the lips on the plastic arches, front bumper and rear bumper, then a bit of bashing to the inner of the metal arches so nothing catches on the inner of the tyre, move the washer bottle and your pretty much there.

16" wheels with max of 40mm profile tyres and an avo roadsport suspension kit lowering the car 20mm all round is perfect as all that need doing is the rear bumper bracket will need moving. This suspension kit also comes with 10 point adjustable front dampers and 22 point adjustable rear dampers all of which are adjustable on the car.

i have a vts on standard rims with a 35mm drop all round and i want to fit 16"'s is thats possible with out having to mess about too much with the bodywork?

you may have to do a little bit of cutting as mine is not lowered and it rubs occasionally
