turbo conversion

   do i need to uprate my cams on my vts to turbo it i got the turbo kit already just need to find a decent intercooler gonna get it remapped after jus dunno if the standard cams can take a turbo? any help will be great cheers

   Yeah as far as i know mate the standard cams work fine. I havent changed mine. You planning to upgrade management to standalone? What kit you using?

   Standrad cams will be more than okay, a lot of big figures have been reached using them!! Can upgrade to boosted cams if you like, but not really worth it!

   not sure what sort it is i got it off a m8 who had some dopey person stack into the back of him so car being broke i got turbo engine management with it, dunno if it helps but he was runnin low boost and gettin 190bhp

   Yeah iam only running low boost and getting 180bhp. Try and get some pics up of the kit if you can. Is it fitted yet or still in bits?

   still in bits atm m8 my gearbox and clutch both gettin repalced since the box died 2weeks ago ,got a techniclutch fast road going on it will speek 2 my m8 l8r 2nite so will ask him wot sort it is i have been told jus 4got lol, wheres a good place 4 a remap m8?

   Yeah quite nice mate for £500. Not sure about the engine colour coding and that but its all good. Have you got pics of the turbo kit going on.? I got mine remapped by Andy Hammond who supplies the predator ECU's on here. But i got it mapped after fitting one of the ECU's. What management is it you have.?

    i cant seem to get the pics uploaded its a garrett t2 turbo ,managment is a apexi turbo pressure controller,gmc unit and cant remeber what he said but there was something about injectors

    Yeah i need to uprate my injectors but havent got the funding for it haha car broke down on the weekend. Keep us posted how you get on with getting the turbo kit sorted.

    will do m8 yh i know the feeling i cant even have the kit put on until i get it bk on the road will be another month til i can buy my last few bits 4 it, am gettin inpatient cant wait to see what it will go like its 150bhp at min which feels like more than it sounds my 220bhp prelude feels about same on pick up as it is now the kits gonna feel rapid when installed cant wait haha
