60mm spring, standard spax shocks?

Hi all, ive recently brought a vts, it was lowerd on 60mm spax spings with standard shocks. as a result of this the standard shocks have distroyed and leak everywhere so i decided to buy spax shocks to sort this all out, i had the choice of adjustable or fixed, i went for front fixed but when fitted at garage they didnt seem to sure that they were ok, and fort i may need shortend ones! does any no if they will be ok 60mm on fixed shocks or will i need shortend ones?
    Thanks

With 60mm springs, you will ideally need shortened shocks. Spax make a normal version and a shortened version for their vsx and psx range.

they should work but you might have the same problem you had with the standard shocks but not for quite a while. you'd be better off with shortened ones.

Been driving around with them on for a week now and everything seems ok but if i was you, i would spend that little bit extra and buy shortend ones, also with the shortend shocks the stiffness is adjustable something to play around with in your spare time.

chances are your stock dampers are high milage? possilby the reason they have failed.

lowering as much as -60 wont help things.
