subtle gti look or go all out vr6 highline look? pic's inside

   my plans were originally to go for a subtle look with my car as its cheaper and would still look great. subtle being lowered on coilovers pressed plates vr6 spliter and flat areo wipers then some bbs rims when got the money. but as the colour of my gti is prity much exactly the same colour as a mullberry vr6 highline i been thinking of taking the arches off as i kinda think the colour of my car dont work so well with the black plastic, im not a fan of changing the apperence of a car to make it look like anouther model ie making the gti look like a vr6 when its not but it dose look bloody nice lol.

   my gti with archesp.s pic has been paint brushed so it is low has pressed plates and vr6 spliter.

   it is a beautifull car the vr6. im gunna do all the subtle mods to mine see what it looks like then maybe one day remove the arches make it look a lil more like the highline its just the thing that my gti is a gti so its ment to have arches so i duno what to do. i have posted a photoshop request if anyone fancies ago for us it would be very appreciated

   i kinda like the arches but at same time they do my head in because they constantly need to be back to blacked. and as i said kinda dont suit the colour of my car

   make it look like the vr6. i agree with not wanting to make it look like a different model, but tbh most people probs wont know what a vr6 is.
   like i didnt have a clue before this thread.
   like people who dont have saxos probs dont know the difference between a furio and a vtr etc.....
   maybe just get yours colour coded.
   also you should get some m3 style tail lights

    i like the GTI look, VR6's are awesome cars though. most people wouldnt be able to tell the difference

    i love them m3 style lights but i dont think they go to well with the colour of my car im thinking of keeping the standards but smoking the orange with some tinting spray. so looks a lil like this....

    true pluss most dubbers with mk3 golfs remove the arches anyways its a big thing on the dub scean. part of me says do it as i like the clean colour coded look but part of me say's its taking the cars identity away

    without arches definatley looks so much better. who cares tbh if it looks like a vr6. people said to me not to put vts wheels on a vtr 'cos it will look like a vts' but it just doesnt matter. i'd say do it
