    hi,

just wondering how much you guys think a garage would charge to change my driveshaft seals?

ive already bought the seals just need them replacing.. got one quote @ 100 to change both and the lambda sensor not including parts, i think this is abit expensive? just wondering what you guys think?

    cheers

theres quite a lot of work involved really, both hubs need separating from the wishbones which can take a while. gearbox needs draining and refilling too.
£100 seems fair enough, maybe a little less.

Very expensive imo. Twice as much as you should be paying

If youre supplying all the parts, they should charge you an hours labour, 2 hours top really as its not a big job.

2 minutes to change lambda sensor and half an hour to drain box, pop shafts out, change seals and then 30 mins to put it all back together.

Might charge you a few quid extra to cover cost of gear box oil as well
