Helping a friend transplant a VTS lump into an old shed of a 106 diesel to build a sleeper, stripping everything possible to lower the weight, perspex windows, no interior etc. Half of the loom wasnt marked up and we're cutting out anything not needed from the loom and tidying it up and reducing weight absolutely everywhere we can. ABS, power steering etc is all going. alarm system and electrics from inside the car are being ditched, stereo and electric windows etc.

We're only leaving what is needed Ie wipers, dash clocks, ignition barrel, indicators and a seat LMAO. I've identified number 2 as the alarm module so just dumped that and number one was linked to it so assuming thats the immobiliser module so that's been dumped too. any quick references to the relays and what they are etc would be a great help, ta

    yellow is e/w

white is the buzzer for leaving your lights on as it has slats in the side to let the noise out

awesome. Will the car fire up with the standard ECU with the alarm/immobiliser modules removed and the transponder binned or will the ECU shut itself down?
  13. #13
will start up still, it just unlocks the ecu so it can be used in any car
