bodies....ecu's????

   ive bought some gsxr bodies and am sending them away to get a inlet etc.
   i was going to get the standard ecu mapped off chipwizards but first it was £500 now they say maybe £650 depending on what needs doing!! thats alot of cash.
   does anyone know a good cheap ecu to buy?
   and any good people for mapping in the north east

   If 500/600 is your spending limit you may aswel look at the predator ecu. There is nothing else that i know of in that price league/performance.

   Put it this way.
   
   Many of the engines on all different makes who run bodies run standalones like, emerald, kms, omex etc...
   
   I personally wouldnt have a bodged OE ecu running in limp mode (info going on what people have said) running my engine.
   
   So you get wayne to map the ecu then want to go standard, then its how much again to map it back?
   
   If you buy an omex for example, you can sell it onto someome mapped up if they fit bodies etc..

   So basically Ryans saying that if you've gone to the effort of spending out and buying TB's then you shouldnt be a stingy sod and skimp out by trying to run on the lame standard ECU

   Go pred mate. Always.. Very good.. There is someone on here with TB's and a pred. Read his feedback as they are reasonable cheap.
