do you keep power steering if you convert to a bigger engine

   yes - dont touch the steering

   the steering is a completely different system to the engine
   
   
   i took mine off as i prefer the feel of the car without it even if its a bitch to park

   yes, im not sure its the same on all of them, for example on my vtr the powersteering pump has its ownl ittle loom plugged into the fusebox, where as my vts engine loom has a branch for the power steering pump

   Is it an easy job to do?
   
   I like the feel and feedback i get in the 1.1 through corners, but i think it would be lost when i upgrade to a VTS, so i've been contemplating removing it, just didn't know whats involves.
   
   Though i might have to get a base model steering rack without power steering, or can you just remove certain parts to scrap the power steering?
