Annoying engine noise?!!

   I have a Mk2 VTR and i have been recently noticing that the engine noise is quite loud possibly tappits (excuse spelling if wrong) or injectors but i dunno it just sounds really tinny & rattley!! lol. Is this something that can be changed or is that just the way its guna be and i should just get used to it. Its getting very annoying cuz you can hear it over my induction kit which is reasonbly loud, i've checked engine over but everything seems fine so i thought i would ask the people who seem to know everything.

   you can replace anything. it's only a question what is it and how much it costs

   it might be the tappets but the injectors are really noisy on a saxo

   just the saxo mate, everyone i know has noisey injectors,

   get a loud sound system so u and everyone else cant hear it, i did that and im happy now lol
