    cheers

The instructions are quite self explan however it states connecting the pos and negs to thr battery, however how do you do that. When i powered my amp it didnt go direct to the battery but to a small fuse box so what do i do?

    THanks

put another cable onto the batter terminal and put an inline fuse in it. and connect it that way. or piggy back it off any permanent live in the car, ie back of the stereo.

Here is the instructions for it all is fine however its the power to the 12v battery is my issue, how do you do it directely?

  8. #8
put another cable onto the battery, feed it into the car through the grommet in the passenger foot well. put an inline fuse on, then connect it to that. simple

so the new cable from the battery will have to have the same fuse as the one used on the central locking? and then attatch the pos cable from the central locking to the new cable? is meaning i will have to look for a pos cable the same thickness? and lastely how will i physically attatch the thin cable to the pos battery termainal? Thanks

on the battery you can get some terminal blocks that clip onto the positive part that have extra holes to add wires, i dont know what yours is like. you will need to get some cable rated to 20a, halfords will have some, and an inline fuse holder. you will need a 20a fuse and terminals to crimp onto the wire.

hi qucifer666 i have an aftermark central locking kit but i dont no how to fit it in the door if you understand me lol. how does it all connect to the lock and the door pin. thanks
  14. #14
two ways, there are brackets that you put the rod through and then just under the central locking pin. or, if you take out the central locking pin and the rod its attached to there is a little hole that the rod can go into. and just screw the central locking solenoid onto the door

hi mate couple more questions lol

    1. when you look at the diagram it states that the fuse used in the central locking is a 15a fuse, surely if i get a 20a cable and a 20a fuse it will blow it?

    2. here is my battery:

Which is the best terminal block to get for the pos terminal of my battery as it seems that the current car electrics seem to use it up

yh sorry, you can use 20a wire or 15a, but make sure you use a 15a fuse, and you will want something like this to make it easier CLICK
